NICOLE’S ICE TEA

BY NICOLE DURDIN - SEPPELTSFIELD ROAD DISTILLERS

150ml Seppeltsfield Road Distillers House Gin

450ml lady grey tea

75ml grapefruit juice

50ml lemon juice

100ml sugar syrup

75ml elderflower cordial

grapefruit and lemon slices for garnish

METHOD

1. Steep 5 teabags in a litre of boiled water (you’ll only need half of the tea, but save some for the second batch).

2. After 5 minutes, remove and dispose of the teabags, refrigerate the tea to cool it down.

3. Once cooled combine 450ml of tea with the remaining ingredients into the jug with ice.

4. Mix ingredients thoroughly. Add a handful of grapefruit and lemon slices. Pour into a tumbler filled with fresh ice to serve. Enjoy!

Nicole’s Ice Tea is served in the jam Australia Optic Jug and Glass in blue. Made using traditional glass blowing techniques, the form is blown into an optic mould to create the rippled texture.
