JamFactory’s Glass Studio Design Manager and glass artist Liam Fleming was chosen as one of six recipients to receive a $10,000 cash grant as part of the Art Gallery of South Australia’s South Australian Artists Fund in June this year. Due to the devastating financial impacts of COVID-19 on many industries, including the arts, AGSA’s artist bursary was implemented in order to help artists, collectives and art centres experiencing financial difficulties due to the pandemic.

Liam says he’s very thankful to AGSA and the South Australian Artists Fund for their support during this uncertain time. “Art requires a team and community to function, this bursary allows me to engage and support other artists, designers and craftspeople to create new work.”
